  • Only burn dry wood or charcoal in our fires
  • Do not place fire near to your furniture, home, outbuildings and oil tank.
  • Do not leave a fire unattended.
  • Watch out for sparks and wind direction - Avoid use in strong winds.
  • Keep a water source nearby and fully extinguish the fire before leaving it unattended.
  • Ensure the pit is fully cooled prior to covering or bringing indoors.
  • Be careful of loose flammable clothing.
  • Use fire safety gloves when possible.

MAINTAINANCE

Mild Steel will naturally form a rust patina in the outdoor environment. We recommend that an occasional rub oil like WD40 will enhance appearance.

The black version is finished with heat resistant powder coat however rust will eventually break through. To keep the product looking good we recommend that you spray paint any rusted areas each season with heat resistant paint.

Our fires are built to last many years, if not a lifetime and the only component  likely to wear may be the grates which are all removable and can be re-ordered.
